Install, maintain and repair medical and laboratory equipment at customer sites, and produce the service records that support each visit.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission medical and laboratory equipment
- Carry out preventive maintenance to the manufacturer plan
- Diagnose and repair faults on site, escalating where necessary
- Deliver operator training at handover
- Produce a service report for every visit
Requirements
- A qualification in biomedical engineering, electronics or instrumentation
- Experience servicing medical or laboratory equipment
- The ability to read technical documentation and wiring diagrams
- A methodical approach to fault diagnosis and record keeping
- A valid driving licence
